Since 1.1.2008 Jungfrau Region Marketing AG (JRM) has been responsible for marketing the Jungfrau Region with the villages of Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren, Lauterbrunnen, Stechelberg, Gimmelwald and Isenfluh. The main aim is to market the offers of the toursist destinations to clearly defined target markets. Furthermore, JRM is responsible for key tasks such as IT, personnel and coordination for the entire tourist destination. JRM is financed by proceeds from the Tourist Tax (TFA), cantonal housing fees, revenue from service agreements and profit from the tourist offices themselves. Shareholders are the local tourist associations, the cable cars and Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen councils.
